MAPLEWOOD — The Maplewood Public Library announced today it will expand its evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning the first of next month. The library will now remain open until 9 PM on those two evenings, up from the current 7 PM closing time.
The expanded hours are funded through the City’s approved biennial budget following a community survey in which 72% of respondents identified extended evening hours as their top library priority.
All other library services, including children’s story time and the Adult Literacy program, will continue as scheduled.
